My journey as a pastoral counselor began in 1998, yet, looking back, I see that my heart for listening, loving and helping people walk through troubled waters began much earlier. As a teenager I started to have a sincere hope to be an extension of Jesus' grace that we read about in Matthew 11:28 ("Come to me all you who are weary...").

Now, after over two decades of putting that hope into practice, I have had the privilege of walking alongside many, many people, from various walks of life, through some of their most difficult seasons. Specializing in depression, anxiety, overcoming addictions and couples counseling, I find great joy in seeking to integrate biblical truths to help people take the next steps into a restored life.

I am married to my beautifully patient and compassionate wife, Harmony, of over 20 years. We have five children; two grown and three at home. I enjoy long walks on the beach… just kidding… my pastimes are Crossfit, mountain climbing, hiking, birding, fish keeping, guitar, and soccer, among others. But truly, my greatest joy is learning to live in the peace of Christ and practice extending that grace to others.
